Eurosonic – Noorderslag

From 15 – 18 January 2025, Groningen will again be hosting the Eurosonic Noorderslag Music Festival.

Festival Eurosonic – Noorderslag (ESNS) is the place to be to discover new European music. Each year the festival attracts more than 40.000 visitors. They are all coming to Groningen to see around 350 European artists.

From music lovers to professionals, they all visit the festival to check out what’s going on in the industry.

Did you know that several new artists get help from the ESNS festival to break through? Here in Groningen artists like Shame, Dua Lipa, Aurora and many more have got a kickstart of their international career. This is offered not only through a stage, but also by supporting them after the festival through a European talent program.

The festival is divided in two:

Eurosonic is the festival for European acts. The musicians will be playing in 40 different locations throughout the city centre of Groningen. This takes place from Wednesday till Friday evening.

Noorderslag festival presents the best of Dutch music. This part of the festival takes place in De Oosterpoort concert venue in Groningen. Only on the Saturday.
